During Business Boost Live on 18 March, internet expert and tech entrepreneur Alexander Klöpping shared three scenarios that illustrate how AI is evolving from a tool into an independent force in our everyday lives.

Today, systems mainly carry out tasks when we explicitly ask them to. The next step is AI independently performing digital processes. Think of technology that operates your computer, drafts documents, searches for information, sends emails or produces analyses, without requiring direct instructions.
In such a world, our role shifts. We set direction, define objectives and manage multiple AI agents that take over operational tasks. This can influence how work is organised, how processes are designed and how time is spent, both professionally and privately.

Where systems currently respond mainly to prompts, they will soon learn from the way we work. They recognise patterns in how you make decisions, which steps you take in a process, which information you consider relevant and how you communicate. Think of tools that automatically summarise conversations, organise documents or analyse workflows. This also raises new questions: how do you handle data, which information do you share consciously or unconsciously, and how do you safeguard your privacy and security?

'Creating software is no longer something for developers only. It is becoming a basic skill for everyone,' says Alexander. According to him, building software will soon be almost as simple as talking. You describe what you need and, within minutes, AI generates a complete application, including interface, database and integrations.
As a result, software becomes temporary. You create a solution for a specific task, use it for as long as needed and remove it just as easily afterwards. This lowers the barrier to experimentation, speeds up process improvement and creates room to try out new ideas quickly.

The true value of AI only becomes clear when you discover how it can help you in your own work, business or private life.
