Is ING allowed to pass on (rising) costs directly to customers?</strong><br />We are allowed to change our fees. What can I do if I don’t agree with the changes to the fees?</strong><br />If you do not accept the changes, you can close the account(s) or cancel your credit card free of charge and without having to give notice. Why has ING stopped charging interest on unauthorised overdrafts?</strong><br />If you have an overdraft facility, we have made an agreement with you about your overdraft limit and the interest you will be charged for being overdrawn. If you don’t have an overdraft facility, you are not allowed to be overdrawn.</p><p>However, you may on occasion go overdrawn (or exceed your overdraft limit) unexpectedly, for instance because we’ve debited the fees for your payment package. In this case, you have an unauthorised overdraft, i.e. you are overdrawn without our permission. We previously charged interest on unauthorised overdrafts. But the financial health of our customers is important to us, so from now on, we are giving you a chance to repay the unauthorised amount immediately, before we start charging interest.  </p><p><strong>2. How can I have an unauthorised overdraft when I don’t have an overdraft facility?</strong><br />We debit amounts for some ING products from your account automatically, even if you have insufficient funds.
