Since the introduction of PSD2, you can also give other companies access to your payment details. If you want to and you give that company permission to do so. And that company must have a permit for this.
You don't just get such a permit; Strict requirements apply to this. In the Netherlands, the Dutch Central Bank, the Authority for Consumers and Markets, the Dutch Data Protection Authority and the AFM supervise this.
You decide which companies you entrust your payment details to. In My ING and the app, you can then see exactly which companies you have given permission to.

The first time, we will share your transaction data from the past 24 months. This is mandatory from PSD2. Then you can view the same payment details via that company as you do with us in the app and My ING. After that first time, we always send an update.
Your permission to a company expires automatically after 90 days. Do you want to stop sharing your data sooner? Then you withdraw your permission yourself within My ING or with that other company. What the other company does with your data afterwards differs per company. This is often reflected in the privacy policy or the terms and conditions of that company. Good to look at that if you give permission.
