No second attempt will be made, even if you top up your balance later. Note: If it’s a regular Recurring payment, ING will try to deduct the money again for the next 4 working days. Don’t make a new transfer yourself in that case.</li><li>In that case, the payment must be re-entered manually after the balance has been restored</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Regular Recurring Payment</strong><br />With a regular recurring payment, the money is added to the receiver’s account within one working day.</p><ul><li>If you’ve scheduled a recurring payment for the 31st of the month, ING will execute it on the last calendar day in months with fewer days</li><li>If the scheduled date falls on a weekend, the payment will be credited to the beneficiary on the next working day</li><li>If your account has insufficient funds at the time of execution, ING will attempt to process the payment for up to four working days after the scheduled date. Note: If it’s an Instant Payment (direct) Recurring transfer, there won’t be a second attempt.</li><li>If the payment still can&apos;t be processed, it will expire. You will not receive a written notification.</li><li>You can view the rejected payment in Mijn ING under the ‘Rejected Transactions’ overview.</li></ul><p>Important: Do not manually execute the payment immediately after topping up your balance.
