In this case you will see on the transfer screen that the money is received &apos;Instantly&apos; in the receiver&apos;s account.</p></li><li><p>In case of planning a transfer with an execution date in the future or a standing order, it is possible to choose &apos;Instantly&apos; (instant payment) or &apos;Within a business day&apos; (as a regular European Transfer). We advise to only use the Instant Payment option for scheduled payments if the money needs to arrive exactly on the planned day(s), also on weekends or bank holidays. Check your transactions first to make sure the amount hasn’t been debited.</p>"}},{"title":"Why are some Instant Payments from and to other countries denied by ING?","richBody":{"value":"<p>It could take us more than a few seconds to carry out the checks required by laws and regulations on transactions to and from other countries.  </p><p>In that case:</p><ul><li><p>we&apos;ll reject the transaction; </p></li><li><p>we&apos;ll state as rejection reason the transaction could not be processed instantly;  </p></li><li><p>nothing will be debited/credited to your account; </p></li><li><p>for incoming payments that ING rejects you are not notified. It is up to the payer or their bank whether they will retry as a regular, non-instant transfer; </p></li><li><p>for outgoing transfers by ING customers that fail as Instant Payment repeatedly, the transfer can be done as a regular, non-instant transfer using the ‘Resend’ option in My ING or the &apos;Try again&apos; option in the ING App (from the on-screen error message or from the rejected payment in your Order overview).  </p></li></ul>"}},{"title":"Is it possible to send a recurring transfer as an Instant Payment?","richBody":{"value":"<p>Absolutely. When setting up a recurring transfer in Mijn ING or the ING App, you can choose the &apos;Direct&apos; processing option. This means the payment can be executed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—even if the scheduled date is during the weekend or on a bank holiday.</p><p>However, there is an important difference between an instant recurring transfer and a regular recurring transfer when there are insufficient funds at the time of execution:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Regular recurring transfer</strong>: If your payment account lacks sufficient funds at the scheduled time, ING will attempt to process the transfer for up to 4 working days after the original date. If there’s still not enough available balance after those 4 days, the transfer will be cancelled.</p></li><li><p><strong>Instant recurring transfer</strong>: If there are insufficient funds at the time of execution, the transfer is immediately rejected.</p></li></ul><p>You won’t receive a notification about this.
