However, it’s best to check the details of your payment first. Maybe you’ve made a mistake or the information in your address book is out of date? Or it could be a scam, and you’ve received a fake invoice. If you see a message, please check the IBAN in some other way, such as by contacting the person or company that you want to pay. IBAN Name Check does not work for direct debits. And it only works for euro current account and savings account numbers in the SEPA area.</p>"}},{"title":"What if IBAN Name Check doesn't work?","richBody":{"value":"<p>IBAN Name Check will tell you if it can’t check the name that you’ve entered with the IBAN. You can go ahead with the payment anyway if you wish. We do advise to check the information before sending the payment.</p>"}},{"title":"What messages are there?","richBody":{"value":"<p>There are three types of messages:  </p><ul><li>Typing error. If you make a mistake when entering the name or if it’s slightly different, for example Janse instead of Jansen, we’ll show the name that we have in our records. Check for yourself whether the name we suggest is really the person or company that you mean. You can select and use the name that we suggest.  </li><li>Wrong. Please pay attention if the name that you enter is completely different from the name in our records, for example Pietersen instead of Jansen. We’ll let you know if the name you entered does not match the IBAN. Contact the recipient and check your payment details. </li><li>No check. You&apos;ll see a message if no check can be made for the IBAN that you enter.
