From October 2026, all webshops will gradually replace iDEAL with Wero. From the end of 2027, you will only be able to pay via Wero. iDEAL will no longer be used.
Wero payments cannot be approved with the TAN-codes — only with the ING App.
Good to know: You can continue to use My ING as you are used to. Only logging in and approving Wero payments will be done via the ING App.
You can download it. There’s currently also a promotion: you temporarily receive €50 in your savings or current account if you switch from the TAN-codes to the app.
