In order to activate Google Pay and use it for payments, ING will share your name, address and phone number with Google. Google will compare this information with the contact information you use for your Google Account. They do this to prevent possible fraud.
If you pay with Google Pay, Google will receive your payment information from Mastercard and Visa. This includes the date and time of the payment. But also the amount and name of the store where you paid.
