That means you'll have one single card limit that applies to payments made with your card or with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Garmin Pay. Your name and account number are still displayed on the front, and the card number and expiry date are on the back.
So what's changed? The V Pay or Maestro logo has been replaced by Visa's or Mastercard's. If you haven't personalised your debit card with a photo, your new card will have a vertical design. Want to personalise your debit card? You can do so online via 'My debit card'.
Something else that's new is your 16-digit card number, which you'll need to make online payments.

Sorry, you can't. You'll receive either a Mastercard or a Visa card. But apart from the logo, the cards are exactly the same. They're accepted anywhere you the Visa or Mastercard logo is displayed.

Your old card will keep working for 90 days after you’ve received this message in the ING App or Mijn ING:
“The new ING Debit Card. Activate mobile payments now.” After that, your old card will be blocked automatically.
Please note: if you no longer use your old debit card, block it in the ING App or My ING. You can then safely throw it away.
