There are three options:</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Continue repaying in instalments</strong><br />You don&apos;t need to do anything. You will continue to repay every month as you do now. Once the full balance has been repaid, your credit card will automatically be closed. If you would like to apply for a new credit card after that, you are of course welcome to do so.</li><li><strong>Keep your credit card, but without Spread payments</strong><br />We will then collect the full outstanding amount in one single payment. Once this is successful, we will unblock your credit card and deactivate the Spread Payments feature. From that moment on, your monthly credit card spending will be collected in full each month.</li><li><strong>Cancel your credit card</strong><br />In this case, we will also collect the full outstanding amount in one single payment. The monthly repayment when you use Spread Payments is 5% of the outstanding balance, with a minimum of €45 per month. You will also continue to pay interest on this outstanding balance. Once you have repaid the full outstanding balance, we will close the agreement. You can then apply for a new credit card.</p></li><li><p>If you have <strong>no outstanding amount</strong> on March 31, 2027, but still have Spread Payments, ING will automatically cancel Spread Payments for you. If you’ve made any extra payments in the completed month within 14 calendar days after the monthly close, the interest will be calculated on the unpaid balance at the beginning of the completed month minus the amount(s) that you’ve paid off.</p><p>The interest due on the completed month will be added to the outstanding balance at the beginning of the next month. That means the interest due is part of the new outstanding balance at the beginning of the next month.
