Every month, we collect the amount you have spent with your credit card. This amount is automatically collected from your current account. You can see the amount in advance in your credit card overview in the ING app or Mijn ING.
If you use spread payments, we'll collect 5% of the outstanding amount every month, with a minimum of €45. This amount includes repayment and interest. Is the outstanding amount less than €45? Then we collect the full amount.
If you don’t spread your payments, we’ll collect the total balance every month.

Do you have a Platinum card? Then all transactions made between the 5th day of one calendar month and the 4th day of the next calendar month are included in the monthly direct debit.

It can take up to 21 days before a credit card pre-authorisation is processed or disappears from your overview. pre-authorisations are not included in the monthly direct debit. If the pre-authorisation later becomes a final transaction, the amount will be collected with the next credit card direct debit.

How is that possible?","richBody":{"value":"Did you make an extra payment between the 4th day of one month and the 3rd day of the next month? Then we include this in the direct debit. Did you add money after that period? Then it may have been processed too late. The amount will either be deducted next month or remain as a positive balance on your credit card. Do you want to transfer this positive balance from your credit card to your current account? We’re happy to explain how you do that.
Please note: do you have a Platinum card? Then this applies to extra payments made between the 5th day of the calendar month and the 4th day of the next calendar month.

Do you want to link your credit card to another current account? Then you need to cancel your current credit card and apply for a new one linked to the correct account. "}},{"title":"What if I don’t have enough balance on the due date?","richBody":{"value":"The monthly credit card costs are always collected from your current account, even if this puts your account into unauthorised overdraft. So make sure you have enough balance on your current account.

If you don’t have enough balance, your account will go into overdraft. Are you in unauthorised overdraft? Read here what you can do to fix this.
