We prefer to do this automatically. This saves us time and allows us to inform you more quickly about the status of your application. One of our employees will then assess and decide whether you qualify for a credit card and with what limit.</p>"}},{"componentType":"sectionTitle","title":"What do we ask your consent for and why?"},{"componentType":"paragraph","richBody":{"value":"<p>When you apply for a credit card, we first check if you meet the basic requirements for a credit card:</p><ul><li>You have had a Payment Account with ING for at least 3 months</li><li>At least €1,000 income is deposited into that account monthly</li><li>You live in the Netherlands</li><li>You are 18 years or older.</li></ul><p>To comply with our legal obligations and prevent fraud, we also conduct a risk assessment based on your customer data. We look at the following aspects:</p><ul><li>Your credit data. For example, do you have (or have had) other loans, and if so, do you always repay them on time? We also check this with the Credit Registration Bureau (BKR).</li><li>Your risk profile. ING systems estimate the likelihood that you can financially handle the desired spending limit and the risk that we cannot collect credit card payments from your ING current account. With your permission, we will perform a monthly reassessment for up to 12 months. If you later become eligible for your requested limit or a lower spending limit of at least €1,000, we will automatically adjust this for you. You can also request a limit adjustment yourself at any time, for example via the ING App or My ING, if your financial situation changes.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>"}},{"title":"What does this mean for you?","richBody":{"value":"<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" dir=\"ltr\">If you agree, you give ING permission to:</span></p><ul><li>Check monthly whether you qualify for a permanent limit.</li><li>Use your data from BKR and ING for this assessment.</li><li>Automatically adjust your limit once you meet the conditions.</li><li>The granted limit will never be higher than what you applied for, but it may be lower.</li><li>The monthly re assessment stops automatically after 12 months. If a permanent limit still cannot be granted, the credit card will be terminated.</li><li>You can withdraw your consent at any time. This can be done easily via our <a href=\"http://www.ing.nl/particulier/klantenservice/telefoonnummers\">contact </a>page or by calling us. We explain step-by-step how to do this. </li><li>You will always receive a message when your limit is adjusted. If you don&apos;t receive a message, you can assume you still don&apos;t quilify for the requested limit. After 12 months, you will receive a final decision.
