ING customers can deposit cash at Geldmaat cash deposit machines. You can find these at designated locations in your area.

Use your ING Debit card and PIN code to deposit banknotes or coins. The deposited amount will be directly credited to your account.

"}},{"title":"How much cash can I deposit daily?","richBody":{"value":"You can deposit up to €3000 banknotes per account per day. The input tray can handle 200 banknotes at a time. If you'd like to deposit more than €3000, you'll have to spread deposits over several days.
You may be charged a €6 fee per banknote deposit. If you have an orange package with a discount (OranjePakket met Korting), you'll be charged for each deposit. If you have an orange package (OranjePakket) or student account (Studentenrekening), the first two deposits are free. If you have a standard package (BasisPakket), payment package (BetaalPakket) or royal package (RoyaalPakket), the first four deposits are free. Every additional banknote deposit made in the same year will cost €6.

You can deposit up to €1,000 per day into a Children’s or Youth Account. The maximum deposit per calendar year is €5,000.

"}},{"title":"What happens if there are possibly fake banknotes in your deposit?","richBody":{"value":"If you deposit cash and the machine thinks that some banknotes might be fake, the machine keeps those banknotes.
On the screen and on your deposit receipt you will see this message:
"Attention: suspected counterfeit banknotes have been detected. These will not be credited to your account."
The banknotes are then checked by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB).
This check can take up to 30 working days. You do not need to do anything.
Are the banknotes real?
Then the amount will still be added to your account.
Are the banknotes fake?
You will receive a message from the bank. The Dutch Central Bank keeps the fake banknotes.
We enable cash deposits, but this does incur costs, for example for the rental of the Geldmaat ATMs and the maintenance of the machines.
That's why we offer payment packages with and without a number of free deposits per year. You don't have free deposits in your package, or you've already used them? You'll pay a small fee per deposit.

Their built-in security measures will stay online. Although this might be inconvenient for some, security is our top priority.
