For an ING current account, you can deposit a maximum of €3,000 in banknotes per day, per account. For coins, the maximum is 5 kilograms per deposit. Do you have a Children’s Account or Young Person’s Account? Then different limits apply:

Depositing cash may involve costs. For example, due to the use and maintenance of the Geldmaat. Whether you pay, and how much, depends on your payment package. You may be charged a €6 fee per note deposit. Please check out this page for a full overview of all our costs.

When you were debited incorrectly you can easily send a service request using the form with this link. We are happy to help. In most cases, your request is handled within five working days. In some cases, it may take a little longer if further investigation is needed.

ING handles your service request. If needed, we will ask Geldmaat to carry out additional investigation. There is no need to contact Geldmaat directly. Due to privacy regulations, Geldmaat cannot access your account or transaction details.
