You can withdraw banknotes at all Geldmaat ATMs in the Netherlands. Most Geldmaat ATMs are open daily between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm.

You can withdraw up to €500 per day as standard with your ING Debit Card.
This limit applies to your physical and digital card together.
You can increase your daily limit yourself to a maximum of €5,000 per day via the ING app or My ING.
For amounts above €1,000, the increased limit can be set for a maximum of 3 days.

Withdrawing cash with your ING debit card is usually free in the Netherlands and in countries within the European Economic Area.
There are two exceptions.
If you have an Orange Package with Discount, you pay €0.80 per withdrawal.
If you have a Student Account, you can withdraw cash for free 12 times per calendar year. After that, you pay €0.80 per withdrawal.
Outside Europe, you always pay a fee. In the overview of fees, you can see exactly what applies to you.
These costs exist because withdrawing cash involves expenses, such as placing, refilling and maintaining ATMs.

Do you find it difficult to withdraw or deposit banknotes at a cash machine? If so, you can use Geldmaat Plus Assistance.
This service is available at selected shops, such as Primera, Bruna, and The Read Shop. You can recognise these locations by the Geldmaat Plus Assistance sticker on the door or window.

Some ATMs also dispense €5 banknotes. You can find these via the special banknotes option in the Geldmaat location finder

Please note: there is a maximum number of banknotes per transaction. You can make multiple transactions as long as you stay within your daily limit.

Cash withdrawn at a Geldmaat (in the Netherlands)
For example, if you received too little cash, the wrong amount was debited, or you did not take the money from the Geldmaat. With this form, you can easily submit a service request for a withdrawal at a Geldmaat ATM in the Netherlands. We usually handle your request within five working days. Sometimes it can take a little longer.
Cash withdrawn abroad or at an ATM other than Geldmaat
Did something go wrong when withdrawing cash with your debit card at an ATM that is not a Geldmaat, for example abroad? Then go to the Money Refund Service (GeldTerugService) for debit cards. Please note: did you withdraw cash with a credit card at an ATM other than a Geldmaat ATM? Then you can use the Money Refund Service (GeldTerugService) for credit cards.
If you suspect fraud or scam, or if your debit card has been lost or stolen, please contact the ING Emergency Line.
