You do not receive a statement every month; in some months you may not receive one, while in others you may receive two.

For monthly statements, we no longer communicate an exact delivery date. Instead, we provide the expected delivery week only, as PostNL can no longer guarantee delivery within 48 hours.

Savings account statements will be sent at the same monthly frequency as the current account statements. Savings account statements will be held for a maximum of two weeks so they can be sent together with the current account statements with a frequency of once every two weeks. If there is no current account statement for that period, the savings account statement will be sent separately.

Credit card statements will be generated around the fifth business day of the month and then held for two weeks so they can be sent together with the current account statement. After that, the credit card statements will be released and sent separately.

Please note: Starting 1 January 2022, you’ll no longer receive paper credit card statements if you have a My ING agreement and you’ve selected digital as your communication preference.

To stop receiving paper current account and savings account statements, just change your settings in My ING. You can download your transactions in My ING too. More information can be found here.

How to turn off paper statements 
In My ING or the app, search for ‘Paper statements’ and complete the process.

You can request a paper bank statement by sending a letter to:

Please state for which account (IBAN) you are requesting the statement, the period to which the statement pertains (max. seven years in the past), your current address and your email address, and don’t forget to include a protected copy (see the website of the central government) of a valid ID with a signature.

You’ll receive the statement two weeks after receipt of your written request.
