Touch ID, or fingerprint identification, is a way to identify you using a fingerprint scanner. Everyone has their own individual fingerprint. The lines and structures of a fingerprint create a unique pattern, which is used to confirm your identity.
To use Touch ID for a payment, you’ll first need to set up Touch ID on your device. Just go to the settings on your iPhone or iPad. Not all models have Touch ID.

You’ll receive a verification code when you try to add a new card to your Apple Wallet. You’ll receive this code on the telephone number that you’ve provided to ING.
Do I need an internet connection to make a payment with Apple Pay?
You do not need an internet connection to make a payment with the debit card that you’ve added to Apple Pay. However, if you’ve added a card to Apple Wallet by using the ING App, then you will need an internet connection.
How do I activate Apple Pay on a new phone?
You can use Quick Start to set up your new iPhone or iPad automatically. Make sure that you place the SIM card in your new phone first.
Activating Apple Pay doesn’t work on my new phone. What should I do?
You can use Quick Start to set up your new iPhone or iPad automatically. Make sure that you place the SIM card in your new phone first. The ING cards which you want to add to Apple Pay, you must validate these within the ING App, after you finalised the quick start of your new phone and the activation of the ING App on your new device.

How can I confirm a payment with my Apple Watch?
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Does your Debit Card show a Visa or Mastercard logo? Then you can withdraw cash by simply holding your card, or the digital version on your phone or smartwatch, near the special NFC reader on the ATM. Enter your PIN-code of your physical card, and you're done.
