After completing the check, you’ll have the full picture: from costs and subsidies to energy saving and emission reductions. The Upgrade Check also provides details on each way to save energy—or on a combination of different options. You’ll also get an estimated new energy label for your property.

They specialise in real estate and sustainability. Using public housing data and the information you share, they recommend energy-saving measures, estimate the cost of improvements and suggest a new energy label. They also calculate your home’s carbon emissions and any subsidies available for your selected measures.

They also use the National Government’s (RVO) public data and their own database, which includes actual emissions that come from buildings.

We estimate the cost of each measure based on property data such as house size. We also draw on the architectural and technical expertise of CFP Green Buildings and their partners.
Using the information you provide, we estimate your potential energy savings and related costs. We also use this information to estimate how much you could save by reducing your gas and electricity usage. CFP multiplies the estimated energy savings by average household energy prices (m³ for gas, kWh for electricity). These average energy prices are based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
Subsidy amounts for potential energy-saving measures are estimates. Actual subsidy may vary depending on your situation. CFP bases their estimates on government subsidies, not municipal ones. To give you a good idea of insulation costs, they include the subsidy available when you make two or more energy-saving improvements. CFP bases the estimated cost of heat pumps for your home on average pricing. Finally, solar panel estimates include the 0% VAT rate. For up-to-date information, visit the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO website). Note that some subsidies may not always be available.
