Insulation","richBody":{"value":"<p>If your home is well insulated, you can heat it effectively at a water temperature of about 35 to 55 degrees Celsius. Check whether your house has good insulation. Most houses built after 2000 have sufficient insulation, but for houses built before 2000 it depends on what measures have been done. A good insulated house has roof insulation, cavity wall insulation or wall insulation with a front wall or against the outside, floor or bottom insulation and HR++ or triple glazing.</p>"}},{"componentType":"paragraph","title":"Stap 2. But conventional radiators and trench heaters also do a good job, as long as they are large enough. Special radiators - known as low-temperature radiators - are also available. They incorporate fans to distribute the heat better. Finally, you can carry on using your current radiators with excellent results, as long as you add a fan coil unit.</p>"}},{"componentType":"linkList","iconTitle":{"title":"And what’s also useful to know…"},"textLinks":[{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/national-heat-fund","text":"National Heat Fund: borrowing on favourable terms"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/upgrade-your-apartment-with-your-hoa","text":"Making your apartment building more sustainable with your Homeowners’ Association (HOA)"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/more-green-around-the-house","text":"More greenery around your home"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/ventilation","text":"Energy-efficient ventilation"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/heat-pump","text":"How does a heat pump work?"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/gas-free-living-step-by-step","text":"Going gas-free step by step: here’s how"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/foundation-risks","text":"Repairing foundations and preventing further damage"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/energylabels-for-homes","text":"All about energy labels"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/increase-self-consumption-of-solar-power","text":"How to use more of your own solar power"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/tips-to-keep-your-house-cool-in-summer","text":"How to keep your home cool in summer"},{"url":"/en/personal/mortgage/sustainable-living/home-battery","text":"Home batteries"}]}]},"complementaryZone":{"flexComponents":[{"componentType":"cards","cards":[{"componentType":"productCard","cardType":"product","cardSize":"small","title":"Heat pump","intro":"Heat your home in a sustainable way.
