The amount depends on the official property value (WOZ value) of your home. Your council’s OZB rate also affects the total amount. Both the WOZ value and OZB rate are set each year by your municipality.</li><li>Homeowner’s imputed income (eigenwoningforfait): owning a home affects your income tax. Each year, a percentage of your property’s value is added to your taxable income.</li></ul><p>You often also receive tax benefits as a homeowner.
