Many property sellers ask for a deposit as a ‘down payment’ for the sale. This is often 10% of the purchase price. By issuing a bank guarantee, ING guarantees that the seller will be paid this deposit. A bank guarantee is subject to a fee.</span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span>Building fund account fee. If you’re renovating a property or having one built from scratch, you can take out <a data-type=\"internal\" href=\"/en/personal/mortgage\">a mortgage</a> to finance it. How much these repayment charges are depends on things such as how much you’re repaying and when.
