This is a percentage that reflects how high your mortgage is compared to the last known fair value of your property. This ratio indicates how high the risk is for you and for ING that your house will not yield sufficient when selling to repay the mortgage debt. The higher the loan-to-value ratio, the greater this risk. This risk is passed on to ING mortgages without NHG in the mortgage interest rate.
