That comes to €61,67.</li><li>With this loan amount, the difference is therefore €47,50 in the first month.</li></ul><p>Now imagine you borrow €30.000 :</p><ul><li>With an interest rate of 1,7% per year, your interest costs in the first month are 1,7% divided by 12 times €30.000. That comes to 42,50 euros.</li><li>With an interest rate of 7,4% per year, your interest costs in the first month are 7.4% divided by 12 times €30.000.
