While you can take out a loan from the age of 18, there is a maximum age limit. You can apply for a Personal Loan up to the age of 70. By the time you reach 75, all loans must be fully repaid.

As you get older, the likelihood of your income decreasing increases. And although we of course wish you a very long life, we must also take into account that you could pass away. We estimate this risk to be higher than for someone who is 20 years old. As you age, the risk that you may not be able to repay a loan increases. This is known as “credit risk”. In addition, it is important not to leave your loved ones with debt if you were to pass away earlier than expected. To limit these risks, a maximum age has been set for taking out a loan and for when the debt must be fully repaid.
