With new assets we mean new money. New Money is money that you transfer to ING from outside ING and invest in your Portfolio Management portfolio during the campaign period. Examples include money held in an account with another bank, an inheritance, a gift, or proceeds from the sale of a property. Example 1: Your entire net investment qualifies as new assets
Because the growth in your total assets held with ING equals your net investment in Portfolio Management, the full €200,000 qualifies as new assets. Your one-time welcome bonus: €2,000
Example 2: Part of your net investment qualifies as new assets
Because your total assets held with ING have increased by €100,000, only €100,000 of your net investment qualifies as new assets. The remaining €100,000 does not qualify as new assets. Your one-time welcome bonus: €1,000.
Net investment is the total amount invested in Portfolio Management during the promotion period minus any withdrawals.

No. Changes in the market value of your investments do not affect your bonus. We only consider your net investment during the promotion period. Market movements may increase or decrease the value of your portfolio, but they do not affect your net investment or the amount of your bonus.

Your net investment is €100,000. Of this amount, €80,000 qualifies as new assets and €20,000 does not. Because less than €100,000 qualifies as new assets, you are not eligible for Promotion 1. We will then automatically assess your eligibility for Promotion 2. With a net investment of €100,000, you would receive a welcome bonus of €500.
Yes. You may participate with both a personal and a business Portfolio Management account. Each participation is assessed separately and must independently meet all promotion conditions, including the minimum net investment of €100,000
