This is checked and determined daily.<br />As soon as there’s enough balance to cover the round-up amounts for that day, rounding will resume.</p>"}},{"title":"I have a joint account—can I activate Round Up & Invest without approval from the co-account holder?","richBody":{"value":"<p>Yes, that&apos;s possible.</p>"}},{"title":"How can I change or deactivate Round Up & Invest?","richBody":{"value":"<p>You can select your Easy Invest account where Round Up &amp; Invest is active, and go to the settings to change or deactivate Round Up &amp; Invest.</p>"}},{"title":"What happens if I change the rounding amount halfway through the day?","richBody":{"value":"<p>From the moment you change your rounding preference for Round Up &amp; Invest, that new setting applies to all payments you make with your card, mobile payment, Apple Pay, or iDEAL.<br />Previous payments remain unchanged.</p><p>If you deactivate Round Up &amp; Invest before the end of the day, payments made earlier that day will no longer be rounded up.</p>"}},{"title":"Why weren’t yesterday’s payments rounded up?","richBody":{"value":"<p>Only processed payments are rounded up. Payments are often first “reserved” on your payment account until they are fully processed. Reserved transactions are marked as “reservation.”<br />Once the payment is processed, the “reservation” label disappears and a value date appears. At that moment, the payment will be rounded up.</p><p>For payments made with a debit card or mobile, it usually takes 1 business day before the payment is processed. So the rounding happens one business day after the actual payment.<br />iDEAL payments are usually processed immediately.</p><p>So check your transaction overview to see if it’s a “reservation.” If so, the payment will likely be rounded up the next day.</p>"}},{"title":"Why is the ‘amount already built up’ showing as negative?","richBody":{"value":"<p>The built-up balance is the amount of money currently in your Easy Invest account. All round-ups are transferred to your investment account and increase this balance. Once a minimum of €10 is reached, the amount is automatically invested.</p><p>The balance can become negative due to a <strong>service fee deduction</strong>. The service fee is automatically deducted each quarter by selling part of your investments equal to the fee amount.<br />If your portfolio is empty and there are no assets to sell, the fee is deducted from the cash portion.<br />If the cash portion is zero, the balance will go negative.</p><p>The balance can also temporarily go negative due to a recurring order. When a recurring order is executed, it’s created before the money is withdrawn from your payment account.<br />This may cause the built-up balance to show as negative until the withdrawal is processed—usually just a few hours, early in the morning.<br />Once the withdrawal is completed, your balance will return to zero or positive.</p>"}}]},{"componentType":"sectionTitle","title":"Good to know"},{"componentType":"paragraph","richBody":{"value":"<p>Investing involves risks and costs.
