Investing involves costs. These costs can be divided into service fees and fund costs.

Service Fees
You pay fees to ING for our services. In addition to a possible base fee (a fixed amount), you pay a service fee. The amount of the service fee depends on the type of service and the composition and size of your portfolio. The base fee and service fee are collected by ING at the end of each quarter. Currency conversion costs may apply when converting transactions in foreign currencies.
There are also external costs. These relate to the difference between the purchase and sale price (also known as the bid/ask spread). External trading costs do not apply to investment funds.
In addition, transaction taxes may apply to a transaction. In some countries, you pay transaction tax when buying or selling securities.
Fund Costs
You pay fund costs to the fund manager for managing the funds in which you invest. The manager of an investment fund or index tracker charges a fee for management, transaction costs within the fund, and any entry or exit costs. These costs vary per investment fund or index tracker and are already included in the price of the respective fund.
