If you choose the basic coverage, your belongings are insured against, among other things, fire and water damage, damage caused by lightning strikes, and theft.
The costs of alternative accommodation and temporary storage are reimbursed if the incident is covered.

Looking for extra peace of mind? Choose all‑risk coverage and benefit from extensive protection for your home contents.
You’ll then be insured, for example, if a dropped paint can damages your furniture or if a painting falls off the wall and leaves a dent in your wooden floor.

With both the basic coverage and the all‑risk coverage, you can take out a valuables extension. Valuables include jewellery, computers and audiovisual equipment.
The advantage of the valuables extension is a higher theft cover. In addition, you are also insured against loss of valuables outside the home.

The ING Home Contents Insurance offers extensive coverage. If you wish, you can further increase the theft cover for your valuables.
