We&apos;ll then perform a few additional safety checks. This way, we hope to prevent criminals from using any received SMS codes for banking. </p><p>Telephone providers only share the bare minimum about changed SIM cards and phones with us. We only use this information to help prevent identity theft on smartphones, and for no other (commercial) purposes.
