Is the loan repaid? Contact our customer service so we can close your loan.<br /> </li><li><strong>Continuing the loan</strong><br />You can also choose to keep the loan active. The loan will then remain in both your names. We will continue to deduct the monthly instalment from the current account linked to this loan. This current account cannot be closed. If you are separating, it is no longer possible to withdraw money from your loan.<br /><br /><strong>Good to know</strong><br />If the loan is linked to a joint current account, you can change this joint account to a single name. You can also link the loan to another current account belonging to one of you. Keep in mind that the loan itself will still remain in both your names. You are therefore both responsible for the loan.<br /> </li><li><strong>Taking over the loan</strong><br />One of you can take over the loan. In that case we check, among other things, whether the partner taking over the loan can afford it financially.<br /><br />If that is the case, we open a new loan and use it to repay the current loan. The loan you had together will then be closed. Contact our <a data-type=\"internal\" href=\"/en/personal/customer-service\">customer service</a> for this.<br /> </li><li><strong>Splitting the loan</strong><br />You can split the revolving credit into two new loans based on your own preferences. We check, among other things, whether you can afford the part of the loan you take over. If that is the case, we open a new personal loan for both of you and use these to repay the current revolving credit and close it.
