This means that an authorised representative is not independently authorised to act on behalf of the grantor but must always act together with one or more other authorised representatives. ING does not register joint authority.<br /><br />Such a power of attorney can only be processed when the jointly authorised representatives, by means of a (sub)power of attorney, designate at least one representative as independently authorised. Does the document (the power of attorney) need to be legalized?</u><br />On the Dutch government’s <a href=\"https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/legaliseren/buitenlandse-documenten\">NederlandWereldwijd website</a>, you can see per country which document must be legalized.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>A type of legalization is an apostille certificate. If a country is part of the Apostille Convention, an apostille can be added to the document. This is issued by the court or another designated authority in that country. If a country is not part of the Apostille Convention, another type of legalization is needed. This varies per country. Does the document (the power of attorney) need to be translated?</u><br />ING only accepts documents written in Dutch or English. Documents written in other languages must be translated.<br /><br /><u>3.
