At ING, you can report a death via My ING or the ING App on the page Banking affairs after death. We will guide you step by step through everything that needs to be arranged. From the notification to the settlement of the banking affairs.

Once we have received the report, we will change the deceased person’s account to ‘Erven van’.

In the ING App, you identify yourself as someone who is authorized to act on behalf of the inheritance, report the death, and gain access to the deceased person’s account(s). You can then make payments, download bank statements, and close the account.
If you are unable to report the death via My ING or the ING App, please report it by phone.
