If you have arrears on your deposit, we will collect it for you. We will try at three moments:</p><ul><li>Around the 15th of the month</li><li>Around the 25th of the month</li><li>On the first working day of the month (together with the contribution for the new month)</li></ul><p>Check ING Achterstanden for the amounts and the date when we will try to collect.</p><p><strong>How do you resolve arrears on your investment deposit?</strong></p><p>You cannot transfer investment deposits yourself. Please note: we’ll only collect your first monthly mortgage payment after a full month has passed. Example: If your mortgage was finalized on 15 January, we’ll collect your first payment at the beginning of March.</p><p>If this period has passed and we still haven’t collected the monthly amount, please contact us.<br />You can do this via ING Achterstanden. We’re happy to help you find a solution.</p><p><strong>I already have a mortgage</strong></p><p>If there is not enough money in your account, we won’t be able to collect your monthly mortgage payment. We will try to collect the amount two more times within the same month. If that does not work, we will get in touch with you. Of course, you can also contact us yourself. Go to ING Achterstanden. Below you will find when we collect the amount from your current account.</p><p><strong>Make sure there is enough balance</strong></p><p>ING collects your mortgage interest and repayments monthly. Please make sure there is enough money in your account so we can successfully debit the full amount. This interest is based on the statutory interest rate, which is currently 4% per year (or 0.01% per day).</p><p>The late payment interest will be collected together with your next monthly mortgage instalment.</p>"},"title":"What costs apply if you have arrears your mortgage payments?"},{"richBody":{"value":"<p>If you miss a monthly mortgage payment, we will inform you. This gives you the chance to catch up the payment. In this case, the arrears will not be reported to BKR.</p><p>If you miss three or more payments, we are required to report this to BKR. For example, you may not be allowed to deduct unpaid mortgage interest. Did you take out a linear or annuity mortgage after 31 December 2012, or increase your mortgage after that date? If you have mortgage arrears, you risk losing the right to deduct mortgage interest for the entire duration of your mortgage, even if you catch up later.
