A Child current account (Kinderrekening) is a bank account for children aged 0 to 11. With a Child current account you can teach your child step by step how to handle money. With a Child current account children can receive pocket money and learn to pay and save.
The Child current account comes with a free separate Savings account (Oranje Spaarrekening). Children aged 6 and over will additionally get their own debit card with the account. And from the age of 8 and over your child can also start making first experiences with digital banking with the ING App and My ING. You can keep track of the account in your own app or My ING at all times.
A Child current account is free and easy to open in the app or My ING.

We ask you for information, such as your child's date of birth and Social Security Number (BSN). You can find this on the passport. We'll do some checks first. Everything okay?
