If so, there are several steps you can take.</p><ol><li>First, contact the organisation that collected the payment. It may have been a mistake.</li><li>If the direct debit was debited less than 56 days ago, you can refund the amount yourself via Mijn ING Zakelijk or the app.</li><li>Is the unauthorised direct debit older than 56 days? In that case, submit a report of an unauthorised direct debit. This can be done up to 13 months after the debit. If no mandate was given, the amount will be refunded.</li></ol><p>Important: always contact the organisation that will collect the payment before refusing a direct debit.
