With packaged deposits, you place euro banknotes in a sealed bag: a sealbag. You then deposit this bag at a Geldmaat sealbag safe. This is useful, for example, if you want to deposit larger amounts at once.
You can order sealbags in My ING Business. This is only possible if you have a sealbag agreement.

The amount is then credited to your account. It may take a few business days before the full amount is visible.
Sometimes, (part of) the amount may already be visible earlier. This happens if you have a pre-credit limit.
A pre-credit limit is a limit assigned to you by ING. Within this limit, an amount may already be visible as soon as you deposit a sealbag. Once the sealbag has been counted, the limit is released again. Not every customer has a pre-credit limit. ING determines this based on your use of packaged deposit.
If the amount is higher than your pre-credit limit, you will initially only see part of the amount. The rest will be credited after the sealbag has been counted.
The initial amount is not yet final. Your balance may still change after the sealbag has been processed.
