If the bank guarantee doesn’t have an expiry date, or needs to be cancelled before that date, only the beneficiary can cancel it.</p><p>We’ll need the following:</p><ul><li>the original bank guarantee; and</li><li>a statement signed by the beneficiary confirming that they’ll no longer make a claim under the bank guarantee. This is called a <strong>release form</strong>. You’ll find it on the last page of the bank guarantee.</li></ul><p>Instructions for the beneficiary</p><p>Make sure the release form is signed by an authorised representative of the beneficiary.</p><p>Then send the original bank guarantee together with the signed release form to:</p><p>ING Bank<br />Attn. Bank Guarantees Department<br />PO Box 350<br />1000 AJ Amsterdam<br />The Netherlands</p><p>If you, as the beneficiary, no longer have the original bank guarantee, use the <strong>standard release form</strong> instead.
