An ownership and control structure provides insight into how the ownership and control of an organisation are organised, from your own company or organisation through to the Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs). It also shows how the different entities within the structure are connected.
The structure may be straightforward, for example, consisting of a single private limited company and a limited number of shareholders. It may also be more complex, such as in international groups with multiple layers of holding companies and subsidiaries. Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) are always included in this overview.
This information can be presented visually in an organisational chart.
