On October 2nd, Joe Hisaishi will conduct a selection of his film scores, including the enchanting music he created for Studio Ghibli animated films (including Spirited Away, Ponyo, and Howl’s Moving Castle), accompanied by film footage on a large screen. Hisaishi himself conducting the Concertgebouw Orchestra is a first, and it also offers a unique opportunity to hear his music live alongside the magical film footage of Studio Ghibli.
