In that case, a guardian can take care of their (financial) interests. The guardian also has control over the account. Unlike with an authorization, a guardian may apply for and change products. Curatorship is arranged through the district court. The account holder who is placed under curatorship loses their legal capacity. This applies when a will places an inheritance (or part of it) under administration. This means the heir themselves is not under guardianship, only the inherited asset is.
