We check your Betaalrekening (current account) as well as your Spaarrekening (savings account), Credit Card and Beleggingsrekening (investment account), where applicable. This measure only applies if your total balance exceeds €100,000. <span><span>However, if you exceed the €100,000 limit in the future, you will not be able to receive any further funds. In addition, you will not be able to make any further transfers from your savings account or investment account to your current account. You will still be able to transfer funds to third parties.</span></span></p>"}},{"componentType":"paragraph","title":"International funds transfer","richBody":{"value":"<p>Another measure is intended to prevent the transfer of large amounts from Russia and Belarus to Europe. For this reason, we actively monitor international funds transfers to your account. This can mean that some transactions to your account are stopped. We review these blocked transactions as soon as possible, usually within 7 days. We rely on your patience. If we have any questions about the transaction(s), we will contact you.</p>"}},{"componentType":"paragraph","title":"Blocking investment accounts","richBody":{"value":"<p>If you have investments with ING, these are also subject to sanctions. We are therefore blocking your investment accounts. What does that mean? </p><ul><li>You cannot make new purchase transactions</li><li>Sales transactions are possible to a limited extent, and each transaction is assessed on an individual basis. Depending on the circumstances, it will either be approved or rejected. </li></ul>"}},{"componentType":"paragraph","title":"Assessment of product applications","richBody":{"value":"<p>We will assign customers who have Russian or Belarusian nationality and/or customers who live in Russia or Belarus a temporary, special identifier in our administrative records. This means that it may take longer to process applications for new or supplementary products or services. The application will be assessed on the basis of your personal situation. Obviously, you will be notified whether your application has been approved or rejected. Applications you submit in your capacity as legal representative or agent of other ING customers will also be assessed.</p>"}},{"componentType":"paragraph","title":"Exemption from sanctions","richBody":{"value":"<p>You are exempt from the sanctions if you have a temporary or permanent residence permit that is valid in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland. Of course, a valid passport or identity card is also acceptable. Are you already subject to the above sanctions? After identification, we need a maximum of three working days to remove the restrictions from your account.</p>"}},{"componentType":"paragraph","title":"Identification","richBody":{"value":"<p><strong>Identify via the app</strong></p><p>If you have our App and one of the documents below, you can easily identify yourself via the App. Go to ‘Service’ (bottom right in the app), open the chat and ask to identify yourself.</p><p>You can identify yourself with the following documents:</p><ul><li>A valid Dutch passport or identity card</li><li>A valid residence permit for a temporary or permanent period in the Netherlands</li><li>A valid passport or identity card from the European Union or Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein.</li></ul><p><strong>Identification at an ING branch or ING Service Point</strong></p><p>Do you have a valid residence permit from another EU country (not the Netherlands), or don’t have the ING app? Then please go to an ING branch or Service Point in the Netherlands to identify yourself.</p><p>Are you going to an ING branch? Make an appointment first. For Belarusian nationals or residents, it’s in Council Regulation (EU) 2022/398 (Article 1u and 1z).
