The National Bank of Ukraine has, however, imposed restrictions. Banks in Ukraine may refuse payments based on these restrictions.</p><p>To facilitate sending money to loved ones or people in need as a result of the war in Ukraine, ING reimbursed the costs of transactions to Ukraine after the outbreak of the war. These costs were refunded to customers afterward when the cost option “OUR” was selected.</p><p>At present, we see that payment traffic to Ukraine has returned to a level comparable to the situation before the war in Ukraine.
